Job Description:

• Processing manual / routine journal entries, including ad hoc and recurring journal entries.
• Work towards reduction of manual Journal entries.
• Compile and analyze financial information for preparation and posting of entries to general ledger accounts.
• Clearing of interface suspense items on daily basis and perform reconciliation between source systems and ERP.
• Calculate & process allocations or recharges, Netting & processing Inter-Company settlement JEs
• Communicate with business for input on journal entries, clarification and explanation on processes.
• Responsible for ensuring timely closure of account books, adherence to daily close schedule and for understanding close dependencies and how to troubleshoot.
• Review and approve manual journal entries.
• Analysis based on issues/query to investigate root cause/impact and propose resolution.
• Preparation of financials and schedules.
• Proactive identification and explanation of material variances and analytic results.
• Performance reporting; liason with client on regular basis to discuss updates/issues (Governance).
• Ability to work on special projects, task, and assignments with minimal instructions; deliver high quality output.
• Resource/task planning to ensure seamless close cycles.
• Review existing process controls, identify opportunities to add robust controls and implement them to ensure zero surprises.
