Responsibilities:
- To learn and understand ARC Processor micro-architecture.
- Learn cutting edge functional verification flow. Participate in product verification cycle from testplan development to functional coverage closure.
- Perform various RTL code quality improvement tasks such as Linting and engineering testing to improve overall product quality.
- Develop and maintain our micro-processor hardware IP including, specification, implementation and test
- Interact with the verification, tools, modeling and simulation teams globally to deliver optimized solutions for our customers
Requirements:
- Strong desire to work with embedded processors or processor based systems
- Knowledge of digital design and ideally, RISC architectures
- Understanding of programming at assembly, C/C++ knowledge is desirable.
- Knowledge of tools such as, RTL Simulators, e.g. VCS, IES, Questa
- Knowledge of Operating Systems such as, Linux, Windows XP/Vista
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Written and spoken English
- Detailed status reporting
- Ability to present results to the program management teams
- Candidate should have bachelor’s degree in engineering or should be undergoing graduation program in relevant engineering streams.
